Land Safety & Rules
1. EYE PROTECTION AT ALL TIMES
Eye protection needs to be warn at all times. If you have to take them off to scratch your eye, please exit the game todo so. Anyone caught without eye protection will get 1 warning before they will need to have a 5 minute time out.
Spectators should also wear eyewear.
2. SHOOTING SAFETY
a. Don't shoot someone that doesn't have a Nerf gun in their hands.
b. No Head shots EVER
c. Do not shoot when outside of the courses.
d. Don't shoot someone who has raised their Nerf above their heads
a. Don't use damaged darts. Damaged darts can break the gun
b. Don’t look down the barrel even if you think it’s not loaded.
c. If your glasses break, exit the game or notify the host
d. No throwing guns on the ground
e. Be gentle with the darts they damage easily. So no jumping on them or stuffing them in pockets etc
4. GENERAL SAFETY
a. NO RUNNING - Please don't run as you will fall over and hurt yourself
b. DON'T HIT OR TOUCH OTHER PLAYERS
There is no hitting, kicking, pushing, pulling, wrestling, or physical attacking involved in Nerf wars
c.EXIT THE GAME
If you need a time out. RAISE your Nerf gun above your head or put it on the ground and walk towards the exit
A Condition of Entry to The Rec Club & Inflatable World sites is that customers assume the risks of injury that are a common and ordinary occurrence of children’s active play.
We encourage customers who wish to cover themselves and their children for any expenses relating to childhood injuries seek Private Medical Cover.
6. EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
In the event of a medical emergency we have competent first aid officers on duty at all times. The Rec Club has First Aid Kits that are regularly inspected. Should First Aid be required whilst you are visiting our Centre, please go to the reception kiosk and seek assistance.
All sessions go for one hour. Within the hour there will be a number of games and courses to rotate through. Game vary from 5 minutes to 20 minutes. Our Nerf Hosts will facilitate each game to ensure it remains fun and winds up in a timely manner.
2. TEAMS & NUMBERS
You can play solo, play with your family or book a space to yourself and your buddies (Minimum 20 people required for an exclusive booking), our Nerf staff will mix it up each session depending on numbers.
Teams can be uneven. Typically, the number of people on each team is equal; however, teams can be uneven due to skill or number of people signed up to each session.
3. GAME & ARENA SET UP
The Rec Club utilizes a number of different Arenas/ Courses throughout our centre. Utilising inflatables, obstacles and little extras to make the game more fun. Within each arena different games will be set built for the size of the space.
Across the arenas we choose from a number of different Games like capture the flag, Protect the Kings/Queens. Each session is different and our hosts will change it up to suit skill, age and number of people involved.
4. FAIR PLAY RULES
Play fair and you will have more fun.
If you get hit, that makes you dead or wounded. What makes this game fun is everyone playing fair. If you are hit return to base.
Some games you will be able to be respawned (Brought back to life essentially) Via a medic or someone, play fair with these rules if you are a chosen one.
Hits to the head and torso count as kills. Hits in all other locations, such as the arms, legs, or side, count as injuries but not deaths.
If you die on your last life, you must leave the game. This includes laying down your weapon and your bullets on the ground, and leaving the playing area as immediately as you can.
