Maddy Proud Elite Netball Camp Sydney – Train with an Australian Diamond

Young netballers in Sydney will have an incredible opportunity these school holidays, with Maddy Proud joining us at The Rec Club Miranda for an All Star Netball Camp on Wednesday 7 October.

This isn't simply an appearance or meet and greet. Players will have the opportunity to train on court with Maddy Proud, learning from the experience, skills and knowledge she has developed throughout an outstanding career at the elite level of Australian netball.

Who is Maddy Proud?

Maddy Proud is one of Australia's most recognised elite netballers and has represented the Australian Diamonds on the international stage.

Known for her leadership, competitiveness, speed and skill through the midcourt, Maddy has spent years competing at the highest levels of the sport.

Her experience makes this camp a fantastic opportunity for aspiring young players to learn what it takes to develop their game and perform at an elite level.

An Elite Netball Camp with a Difference

There are plenty of school holiday netball clinics in Sydney, but the All Star Netball Camp at The Rec Club Miranda has been designed to give young players something different.

Rather than having a professional athlete make a short guest appearance, Maddy Proud will be actively involved in coaching and working with players throughout the camp.

Players will take part in a full day of netball activities covering different areas of the game, with the opportunity to learn skills, techniques and training habits from someone who has experienced netball at its highest level.

It's an opportunity to ask questions, learn new skills and discover some of the little things that separate good players from elite players.

For young netballers who dream of one day playing representative, state or even Australian Diamonds netball, learning from athletes who have already made that journey can be incredibly valuable.

Maddy can provide players with an insight into not only the technical side of netball, but also the attitude, preparation and commitment required to continue improving.

The emphasis of the day will still be on having fun and enjoying netball, while giving players access to genuine elite-level experience.

The camp is designed for young netballers who love the game and want to improve.

Players don't need to already be elite or representative-level athletes. Whether they're developing their skills or looking to take their netball to the next level, the program will provide opportunities to learn, challenge themselves and have a great day on court.

Players will be grouped appropriately throughout the day to help create the best possible experience.
